The Helen Keller Festival Keller Kids Program aims to provide enrichment to kids and teens while teaching them about the life and accomplishments of Helen Keller through education and hands-on learning.

The Helen Keller Miss Ivy Green Pageant returns this year!

This pageant is a non-glitz pageant open to females aged birth – 19 years old. In honor of Helen Keller, we encourage those with a disability to compete.

There will be a Miss Photogenic Contest portion for those who wish to participate.

Division winners will also be invited to ride in the Helen Keller Festival Parade on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

Discovery with AIDB

Discovery with AIDB is the disability-education portion of Keller Kids. Keller Kids Discovery features Adapted Activities and teaches kids about vision and hearing differences. For over 25 years, the program has offered kids the opportunity to learn about the everyday life of persons who are deaf, blind and deaf-blind.

FREE event. Lunch provided. Open to ages 8-14.
